Alexander Zachary Jewelers opened in Downtown Mooresville on September 1, 1995. Owned by Bill and Denise Thunberg, the name is actually the name of their sons Zach and Alex. Bill started working in the retail jewelry business in 1966 and remained active in the business while in college and after. After years of working for multi-store jewelry chains, Bill and Denise decided it was time to build something for themselves, their family, their staff, and for the community. Downtown Mooresville provided the opportunity to do just that. For 25 years, we have tried to live up to the values expressed in our slogan "Real people, helping real people." Quality jewelry, professional services, and outstanding customer service in a comfortable atmosphere.
